Full Stack C# .NET Developer - Job Description

Annual Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DoE

Location: Liverpool / Llandudno, North Wales or Hybrid remote

The project is to migrate our existing live ASP.NET MVC based monolith, which has been live for 6 years, to a modern React frontend with an API based backend built on serverless microservices architecture running in AWS using .NET core. There will be the opportunity during this to work to contribute to improving the existing project and to develop a series of exciting new features. We plan to make use of a range of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, Quantum Ledger, Neptune/Cloud Directory etc.

  • Working as part of a skilled and collaborative team, and communicating effectively to ensure projects are delivered in an efficient and timely manner
  • Engaging with customers to ensure project delivery is bringing best value to our clients
  • Professional experience developing high performing web applications in an end-to-end Agile environment using fully automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
  • Ability to adapt quickly and develop in-depth technical understanding of new applications and complex technologies


  • You have been working as a C#/.NET developer at least for 2 years and have delivered projects which utilize cloud technologies (API Gateways, Queues, Message Buses etc.)
  • Architecture and Design Patterns (e.g., Rest, Micro services, DDD, SOLID etc.)
  • Has experience writing unit, integration and end to end tests
  • DevOps and Shift Lift concepts (AWS CloudFormation)
  • You have an excellent understanding of web technologies and protocols
  • You enjoy researching and keeping up to date with the latest industry practices and sharing your knowledge
  • You contribute to the design process, review code and support other team members


  • Experience with ASP.NET Core
  • Cloud functions and/or Containers
  • Frontend Development skills (React)
  • Web sockets (Push notifications)
  • Database design (Relational, Document, Graph)
