Ransomware Statement

The team at tahdah wanted to reassure all of our users that tahdah is not affected by the global WannaCry ransomware attack. We run fully updated PCs in our office and during normal operation our webservers operate on continuous rotation meaning they are never live for more than 48 hours before being replaced by a fully patched and updated replacement. When we were made aware of the security update released by Microsoft on Friday we immediately updated our office computers in response. We also replaced all web servers on Friday afternoon as a precaution (in addition to the usual automatic replacement). Following the news over the weekend we have taken the precaution of running manual malware and virus scans on our internal network and all of these have come back clean. We will continue to monitor the situation and work with our providers to ensure that we are not affected. We would advise all users to ensure that their personal computers are updated and always running the latest version of the operating system making use of automatic updates.

For anybody concerned about how attacks of this nature could affect them more information about staying safe online is available at: https://www.cyberaware.gov.uk/virus
